Bright yellow feathers
embarrass dowdy sparrows
steeple chase to follow.
Mackerel sky

A mackerel sky
don’t be pessimistic
the sun may come out.
See saw
*
When he was grounded
he measured his horizon
then he needed me.
Gentledove
*
Far away sighings
dove on a distant oak tree
only soft hearts will hear.
Pebble pool
*
Surprised eyes widen
that a pebble should drop in
stranger making waves.
